Common Sense Prevails

Look — New Old School is one teacher with forty years of notebooks, plus the people who help her run the schoolhouse. We treat every student like a neighbor, because most of you found us by word of mouth. We'd love to skip the legal language entirely. The world we live in requires a few pages of it. Here it is. Be a good person, we'll be a good school, and none of us will ever need to read this page again.

1. Educational, Not Medical

Everything taught at New Old School — online classes, premium videos, in-person sessions, mentorship, the Almanac newsletter — is educational in nature. Toni is a wellness educator, not a medical doctor, and nothing on this site is medical diagnosis, treatment, or prescription. If you have a medical condition, work with a licensed physician. Use what you learn here to be a more informed participant in that conversation, not a replacement for it.

2. Class Enrollment & Access

Enrollment is per-student. Your replay access, downloads, and Almanac subscription are tied to the email you enroll with. Sharing premium content (especially the two paywalled videos) outside your household is not okay — it's the school's way of staying small and honest.

3. Refunds

Within 7 days of a purchase, request a refund and you'll get one — full, no questions, no friction. After 7 days, all sales are final, including the two premium videos and the All-Access Pass.

4. In-Person Sessions

Biofeedback scans, tick triage, pantry audits, and workshops are scheduled by appointment. Cancellations 48+ hours ahead are fully refunded. Inside 48 hours, the session fee is forfeit unless rescheduled within the same calendar month. Travel beyond the 30-mile radius is quoted separately.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by Texas law, New Old School is not liable for incidental, consequential, or punitive damages. Total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid the school in the previous 12 months. Claims must be brought within one year of the event giving rise to them.

6. Personal Property & Premises

You assume the ordinary risks of being a person in a building (parking lots, stairs, animals nearby, kitchen knives in pantry-audit demos, etc.). The schoolhouse uses video surveillance for safety. Hazards reported in writing within 48 hours can be evaluated; later reports cannot.

7. Privacy

Your email and personal information stay with us. We never sell, rent, or trade student data. We share information only when legally compelled or when needed to provide the service you asked for (e.g., a payment processor).

8. Intellectual Property

The content of every class — videos, slides, PDFs, handouts, the website itself — is owned by New Old School and licensed to enrolled students for personal use. Don't repost, resell, or reupload. If you want to share something, point a friend to the public site or the free Almanac.

9. Photography & Recording

Live cohorts may be recorded for replay. Cameras can be off; questions can be asked anonymously in the chat. By attending you consent to being part of the recording's audio. In-person sessions are not recorded unless we both agree in writing.

10. Disputes

Any dispute is resolved by binding arbitration in Montgomery County, Texas. No jury, no class action. Frivolous claims may be subject to fee-shifting under Texas law.

11. Miscellaneous

If any part of this is unenforceable, the rest stays. These terms are the entire agreement between us — verbal promises, while well-intentioned, don't count. Continued use of the site means you agree.

Questions about any of this?

Toni would rather talk it through than have you stew on it.
